The Zerostart Copper Threaded Coolant Immersion Heater 3500043 is designed for Ford/Mercury/Lincoln Automotive model 8 Cylinder 1995-2002 V8 – 7.3L (T444E), International by Navistar – Light and Medium Duty Trucks model 94-2002 V8 – 7.3L (T444E), Caterpillar models 3304 (with oil cooler) and 3306 (638 CID), Detroit Diesel models 8.2 Litre (501 CID), Silver Series (6V-92, 8V-92), 12V-71, 16V-71, 12V-92, 16V-92, and GMC General (with 92 Series engine), Ford model 7.3L (445 CID V-8 – Navistar T444E engine), Hino models W04C, W06E, H06C-T and H07C-B (3.8L, 5.7L, 6.0L, 6.4L, 6.7L), International/Navistar model T444E (7.3L V-8), Mack models 865 Series, 866 & 1000 Series, EM9-400 (998 CID), and E9 and all Oliver models except 1265, 1365 and 1900.

INSTALLATION INFORMATION:

  • Caterpillar models 3304 (with oil cooler) and 3306 (638 CID) – Replaces 3/4″ pipe plug at Rear of oil cooler on Left Side of engine.
  • For Detroit Diesel models 8.2 Litre (501 CID) – Replaces 3/4″ pipe plug on Right front side of engine.
  • For Detroit Diesel models Silver Series (6V-92, 8V-92), 12V-71, 16V-71, 12V-92, 16V-92, and GMC General (with 92 Series engine) – Replaces 3/4″ pipe plug in oil cooler elbow on right side of engine.
  • For Ford model 7.3L (445 CID V-8 – Navistar T444E engine) – Replaces 3/4″ NPT threaded plug in oil cooler.
  • For Hino models W04C, W06E, H06C-T and H07C-B (3.8L, 5.7L, 6.0L, 6.4L, 6.7L) – Replaces 3/4″ plug in water transfer casting/oil cooler cover.
  • For International/Navistar model T444E (7.3L V-8) – Replaces 3/4″ threaded plug in oil cooler.
  • For Mack models 865 Series, 866 & 1000 Series, EM9-400 (998 CID), and E9 – Installs in oil cooler casting. Two heaters are required.
  • For Oliver models except 1265, 1365 and 1900 – Install in cast elbow at front of engine – between radiator and engine block.
