Burndy Hytool™ Hand operated crimping tool is ideal for installing CABLELOK CRIMPIT and HYCRIMP tap connectors. This tool features handles that has polymer construction for added grip and comfort. Tool with 99000 crimp/cycle life, has positive lock and spring loaded die retainer buttons. This tool features nickel-plated jaws, steel/bronze bushings and stainless steel pins. It has Allen wrench, bent handles and anti-slip grips for flexible and easy adjustments. Tool has larger steel bolts for enhanced strength and providing greater bearing area. The butt stops and heat shrink tubing provides added protection. It is suitable to use on copper, aluminum, ACSR, copper weld, alum weld, steel, 6201 5005, compressed and compact conductors. This tool is also ideal for use on 10-2/0-AWG copper taps, 14-4/0-AWG aluminum ACSR taps, 6-4/0-AWG stirrups, overhead full tension dead-end, full tension splices, non tension splices and terminals conductors.
